In December 2014, I wrote a story in Kabul Press on selling and buying Pashtun suicide bombers across Af-Pak border. According my sources, the cheapest suicide bombers are between ten and fifteen years old. Each of them cost about 300 USD. The most expensive suicide bombers who are stronger are from 1000 to 2000 USD. Over 90% of suicide bombers are from the poor Pashtun families who work as farmers of the poppy fields. Suicide bombers get train inside madrasas and training camps which are (...)

Next Generation of the Terrorists
21 November 2016, by Kamran Mir HazarThis is what Pashtun children learn in Afghanistan, preparing to be the next generation of the terrorists organized in groups such as the Taliban and IS. It seems the Pashtun society is death; there is no intellectual movement; no civil movement and no common interest to live in peace with non-Pashtuns. The Pashtun politicians such as Hamid Karzai, Ashraf Ghani or Hanif Atmar misused billions of dollars aids from the international community and supported the Taliban based of their permanent (...)

#KabulProtest was historic. Now, it’s for the govt to take on Taliban, IS
15 November 2015, by Dr. Hussain YasaWhen the Taliban were toppled in 2001, Afghanistan began to dream of a free, peaceful, stable, democratic country. Fourteen years on, for a host of reasons, that dream has soured.
The Taliban are back, more brutal than ever, and the new terrorist network of IS has reared its head. Their atrocities are growing ever more horrifying by the day. Made desperate, the Afghans are fleeing in their thousands to seek shelter, and hopefully a better life, abroad.
Of late, the terrorists have shown (...) -

Mullah Omar’s death might be bad news for Afghanistan
2 August 2015, by Dr. Hussain YasaThe death • This is the third time in five years that there has been news of Mullah Omar’s death • This time the Taliban have confirmed the news. Some of them have declared Akhtar Mohammad Mansoor as the successor to Mullah Omar, precipitating a leadership crisis and intense factional politics in the movement. • The acceptance of Mullah Omar’s death will have a significant impact on Afghanistan and the region as a whole The timing • This comes at a time when the Afghanistan government is in the (...)

The Manifesto of Violence
10 July 2015, by Asad KoshaThe question is how violence and IS relate to one another? I argue that the intimate relationship of violence and Islamic State is twofold: Firstly, the Islamic State is founded base on violence. Secondly, violence is the instrument through which it wants to acquire its goal and then rule its territory as it wishes. Thus one can confidently say that violence is the immediate weapon that forms the essence of Islamic State and it is the means, which preserves it as an organization.

Afghan’s Being Fooled With Fake Peace Talks
28 February 2015, by Dr Florance EbrahimiThe new Afghan government, led by President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, is faking to the Afghans that they are opening new avenues to bring peace to the war-rattled country. This time our intellectual President has come up with a new experiment now Kabul turns to Beijing to help it bring Taliban insurgents to the negotiation table and put an end to the 13-year-war. This time it’s being shown that Pakistan is also fully cooperating for bringing Taliban to tables to talk with Afghan. On the (...)

Clash between radicals: ISIL vs Taliban in Afghanistan
28 February 2015, by Deedar R. KhudaidadAfter setting the historical shrines of Logar province of Afghanistan on fire on Saturday February 21st, 2015, the ISIL militants also killed one civilian and replaced the Taliban’s white flag with their own black flag in the Charkh district. On the same day, the ISIL men entered locals’ houses, broke their televisions and warn people not to watching television anymore (Tolonews). The ISIL affiliated group claimed the responsibility and asked Talibans militants in the Province to declare (...)

15 reporters arrested, one news writer in custody, and the silence of the media and the human right activist of Afghanistan
24 October 2014, by Kawa GharjiIn Islam, the domain of beliefs is so widespread that it covers everything from God and the prophet to Ali Khamenei prostate and Mullah Omar’s blind eye. It goes without saying that under such circumstances, simple matters like making a movie, drawing a cartoon, taking a picture, listening to music and many otherwise normal acts are now considered an insult on religion. It shouldn’t be like that.
I do not read the Afghan Express newspaper regularly but I have read the article that caused a (...) -
Scottish Independence and Afghanistan Partition
15 September 2014, by Kamran Mir HazarWhen I look at the absurd and comic election of Afghanistan, and at the same time at the upcoming Scottish referendum, I keep asking myself why Afghanistan should not have a referendum on partition? Why people in that country cannot talk more openly on unnatural borders made by Britain and Afghan tribal leaders at the end of 19th century? If it is a right in Scotland, why not have it in Afghanistan? There is no doubt for many that “Afghan” is not a common national identity for non-Pashtuns, (...)
