Reading this report, i came to conclude that Afghanistan’s abuser police do not know what they are supposed to do and what limit there is to their power. Police force are supposed to protect the civillians against the gangs and mobs. They are apparently doing the opposite of this. Mr Karzai doesn’t seem concerned about actions of the uneducated police force and its implications. The best way we can combat these sorts of physical abuse is to record their deeds on video camera and report it on TOLO TV or other TV channels accepting reports from civillians and freelance journalists. Apparetly, illitercy of the popupation has created a safe haven for police and other alike authorieis to abuse powers given to the by the state. There is an emergency need to take actions against such abuse of power, and the journalists along with their camera’s can play the most influencial role
Finally, i see a deep-felt appreciation and support for author of this report, Malalai Jawed, for the great commitment, interest and determination she shows to justice and civil rights. She does this by reporting on the wrong doings of a corrupt government.
