International appeal to support the immediate release of a young Afghan Journalist

My name is Emanuela and I am a PhD student at the University of Kent. I am determined to join this appeal for the immediate release of Parwiz Kambakhsh. I firmly support the freedom of speech and the right of people to express their thoughts and beliefs, especially in University, which is supposed to be the place where the minds of the young generations grow and contribute to shape the future of a country. Religion mustn’t become Afghanistan’s cage. Don’t let Parwiz be killed by those who want to destroy the future of your torn but wonderful country.
