I personally know Mr Parwiz and I also know the teacher at the Balkh University and the students who have filed the complaint against Mr Parwiz. Access to Information and freedom of expressing views is the right of every citizen of Afghanistan guaranteed by the Afghan constitution. In case of Mr Parwiz, he hasn’t committed any crime, but has read something that is opposing the views of the Mullahs. He is being punished for not agreeing with the views of the fundementalist Mullahs - who have over-shadowed democracy and freedom of speech in the country. I ask Mr President of Afghanistan to take action and order immediate release of the fellow journalist. Dont punsih someone just because he thinks differently.
