In a big copper pot, the Afghan barks

Two poems by Kamran Mir Hazar

Saturday 4 April 2015

All the versions of this article: [English] [

From the Hazaristan With Haiku Body and a Yellow Mandela

Poets Ahmad Al Shahawy (Egypt), Adnan Özer (Turkey) and Kamran Mir Hazar(Hazaristan)

With Haiku Body
In a big copper pot, the Afghan barks
Sparrow, sparrow, sparrow
The Afghan has blocked my sparrow’s flight

With Haiku Body
Sometime they want to chain your hands and feet
If necessary become a fish
If necessary an elephant saved from extinction
